I’m Jesse Kirberger, an interactive designer, fabricator, and full-time mad scientist living in Los Angeles. Welcome to my super awesome high-tech website on… the Internet.

I began my career in 2005 as a graphic and web designer. My love of film led me to write and produce several shorts with a group of friends which introduced me to the world of prop design and post-production. Out of necessity (read: dwindling budgets) I learned how to edit, design sound, and create visual effects as well as fabricate interactive props for our various projects. I enjoyed it so much that I started doing it full-time, offering post-production services to post houses, design firms, and gaming companies.

In 2013, I received the first Oculus Rift development kit. As a child, I was able to test an early VR prototype at a science museum and became immediately hooked on the concept, so this was quite an exciting milestone. I learned Unity and Unreal Engine and dove into building prototypes of concepts I had always dreamed about. I’ve since created many virtual and augmented reality experiences as personal projects and for others.

That same year, I started working for Incite, a design studio, where I became immersed in the world of experiential design. It was a chance to utilize all my skills while gaining more through experimentation. I fell in love with the idea of creating incredible experiences for people to explore.

I’m currently working as a freelancer and looking to collaborate with cool folks with a passion for immersive world-building.
